Bourbon Barrel-Aged Barleywine is a ballsy, malty brew from Hi-Wire Brewing that captures the style of an English Barleywine very nicely. Caramelly and toffee-ish, there is a dark fruit presence as well. First-use Bulleit casks add a distinct bourbon note that has some underlying sweetness. But this baby packs a 10% punch and needs to be savored at home, preferably in front of the fireplace or firepit–especially if you’re having a second. Perfect for cool Spring or chilly Fall nights!
