You, Too, Can Get Paid to Drink Beer

Now you don't have to be a beer writer to get paid to drink beer (although the pay is hardly astronomical). Comes now in my beer-related email an offer from PintPass:

To use your Beer Money, simply ask your server to enter the 16-digit debit card code into their point-of-sale system, manually, like any other debit/credit card.

The PubScout confesses that he has yet to download and use the app, so he can't attest as to the quantity of savings; but, on paper, it looks pretty cool. So if you're an adventurous beer lover who wants to help offset your beer drinking costs, you might want to give it a try.
