First Seal of Approval Awarded

It's The PubScout's mission to alert his extensive and beer knowledgeable readership to great places to quaff. And it's high time those places got "officially" recognized.

Such was the case yesterday, when a skein of hungry, thirsty bikers made its way to Titusville, NJ and place called Patriot's Crossing near Washington's Crossing State Park. The PubScout has stopped at this place regularly, and has enjoyed its casual, scenic atmosphere, its nice selection of good beer and its incredible wings--best on the Delaware River for sure, and maybe the best in NJ.

And after slaking our thirsts and sating our appetites, it was time to recognize Mr. Wah's place officially.

Patriot's Crossing became the first pub in NJ to bear the Official Seal of Approval from The PubScout-- the coveted P.A.P--and it has the proof on its front window.

There will be more of these offered to other favorite PubScout pubs throughout the state, and in addition to that handsome sticker, they will all have three things in common.

The criteria are

Good Pubs, Good Beer and Good People--on both sides of the bar.

Now even the three or four people in the state who have not yet read The PubScout (it's possible) can rest assured that they are entering a quality pub or tavern when they see this tag.

Patriot's Crossing is just the first.

If you know of a pub that you believe deserves this highly selective distinction, which is tantamount to a Oscar in the movie business, a Grammy in the music business or a Tony in the Broadway theater business, send me an email. I'll investigate your claim.

Cheers!

The PubScout
