GGI stands for the Glen Gardner Inn, and even though it's only about four months old, GM Dan Weiss is jumping into the craft beer scene feet-first. He's planned the first-ever beer dinner at the GGI for May 17 at 7 PM, and he's partnering with Founders Brewing to do it. Not bad for a newbie, huh?
Here's the menu:
Menu
1st Course--Assortment of Cheeses, Fresh Fruit & Fondue Paired with Mosaic Promise
2nd Course--Gazpacho with Guacamole, Sour Cream and Tortilla Paired with All Day IPA
3rd Course--Mushroom & Squash Lasagna with Home-Made Spinach Pasta Paired with Dirty Bastard
4th Course--Marinated & Grilled Flank Steak with Fresh Corn Polenta & Stone Fruit Salsa Paired with Sumatra Mountain Brown
Dessert--Chocolate Lava Cake, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Passion Fruit Creme Paired with Nitro Rubaeus
$60 per person plus tax and gratuityIncludes dinner and beer pairings

You'll be part of history in the making, and judging by the photos on the GGI website, you're in for a great experience. Here's the link for tickets.

Of course, with a lineup like that, The PubScout HAS to attend. After all, you don't get a chance to make history every day.
Hope to see you there!
Cheers!
